Eco Installer can provide you with a gas or oil central heating system as well as integrate your existing system with a renewable one. This option can often be a financially better alternative to that of a completely new system. For more information, please call our team on 01353 669000 or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.
All our gas work is recorded under the Gas Safe scheme (previously known as Corgi registered) and our oil work is recorded under the OFTEC scheme. Whether you are looking for the latest energy efficient gas or oil boiler, updating your gas oven or hob, we guarantee that our engineers are registered with a Competent Person Scheme (CPS).
We handle landlord’s certificate for boilers and hobs across Ely, Cambridge and the surrounding villages. We are also registered for LPG, which is used in mobile homes and situations where there isn’t a mains gas supply.
Gas can be highly dangerous and if you have any concerns, you should always seek expert advice. Contact us if you have any concerns or questions – we would rather waver the cost of a call-out than see your loved ones at risk.
Gas and Oil Boiler Service
We cannot stress enough how important regular servicing is as it ensures the boiler is working safely and to the specifications designed by the boiler’s manufacturer. It will also help you save money on expensive fuel bills and reduce the risk of the boiler breaking down.
Benefits Of a Boiler Check:-
– Carry out all safety checks
– Test for carbon monoxide leaks
– Improve efficiency and reliability
– Help prolong the life of the boiler
– Save money on repairs
– Keep your boiler within warranty (if applicable)
Without regular cleaning and adjustment your boiler will start to burn inefficiently, leading to increased fuel costs, unreliability and possible safety implications.
Carbon Monoxide Detector
Housing Minister Brandon Lewis has announced that from 1st October 2015, UK landlords will be required by law to install working smoke and carbon monoxide alarms in rented properties in all “high risk rooms” – such as those where oil-fired and solid fuel heating and cooking appliances are installed.
Unchecked gas appliances could be leaking carbon monoxide which can cause poisoning. You can’t see it, taste it or smell it, but it can kill quickly and without warning, which is why every house with a gas boiler should have a carbon monoxide detector. Although an alarm will alert you to carbon monoxide in your home, it is by no means a substitute for having an annual gas safety check and regular servicing by a Gas Safe registered engineer. As part of your boiler service, we can fit a detector at a low price. Please ask a member of our team for more information.
