Lower energy usage means lower heating bills

Underfloor heating can be one of the most appealing forms of energy efficient heating for home owners. It produces and even warmth throughout the property, and as long as the house is well insulated, very little of the heat will be lost.

Water-based underfloor heating systems are widely available and can be attached to your regular boiler, Air Source Heat Pump or Solar Thermal (although this last one only really works well in the Summer when you need the heat less).

Underfloor heating requires a water temperature of only 50C compared to 80C with traditional radiators.

Underfloor makes a lot of sense to install in a new house or when you are doing a renovation. Underfloor heating will also score extra points towards the sustainable building code.
