Rain Water Harvesting is an excellent water saving solution for new build homes and retro-fitted into existing homes.
In the UK we flush our toilets with water that is clean enough to drink!
It’s easy to install rain water harvesting. In a new build it’s possible to bury the system underground, with a retro-fit you can choose the same option or install a free-standing system that can fit very neatly alongside an external wall of your property or garage.
You can use your rain water harvesting system for your garden (very useful with the hose pipe ban expected to be in force this summer 2012) and grey water for flushing toilets etc.
