Solar PV Case Study

Chris, an existing plumbing and heating customer was keen to install Solar PV on his garage, to benefit from the feed-in-tariff but wasn’t sure whether he would still benefit now that the rate had dropped from 43p to 21p per KWh generated.

Roly met with Chris and explained how the price of Solar Panels and Inverters had dropped significantly, allowing Eco Installer to deliver a system that would pay for itself in 11.5 years, giving Chris a tax free earning of £426.00 per annum, plus export payments and electricity usage savings of a further £163.00 per annum.

After exploring all the panels and inverters available to Chris, it was decided to use 195 Watt Mono Sunrise panels for their size and an Eltek Valere 2.0 Inverter because of it’s strong networking capabilities.  Chris also chose to have us install a Wattson Solar Monitor, which will allow him to monitor his electricity production versus his current electricity consumption.

Don’t just take our word for it, this is what Chris had to say:

“I have been impressed by the installation of my new Solar panels. Roly from Eco Installer took the time to understand my needs, explained the pros and cons, gave a fair price and delivered on the date he promised. Everyone at Eco Installer has been very professional and responded quickly to any of my questions and needs. Would recommend to others.”

Thanks Chris!
