After a long wait the Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC) have announced the new Feed in Tariff (FiT) of 4.39p per kWh which will come into effect on 15th January 2016.
In order to protect the new budget allocation of £100 million, the DECC has elected to enact a four-week pause on new Feed-in Tariff for Solar photovoltaic (PV) installations which will run from 15 January to 8 February 2016.
Any new solar PV installation carried out between those dates will not be eligible for the previous rates and will receive the new 4.39p rate from 8 February onward. The new rate will run from 8 February to 31 March, after which digressions will begin to occur.
The default quarterly digressions are as listed below:
If you are interested in having a solar installation before the tariff digression, please give us a call on 01353 669000 as we have a very limited amount of days available in early January.
